Quality Investigator- Quality Engineer -Process Support Investigator II - (Healthcare / Manufacturing)

Responsibilities

As a Process Support Investigator, II you will be responsible for providing technical investigation support and expertise. This involves using statistical analysis to support rationale/justification for root cause or contributing factors, as well as performing complex multivariate analysis and creating complex graphs and charts. Responsible for developing and driving implementation of appropriate CAPA's.

Additional and responsibilities for the Process Support Investigator II position include:

  • Create objective, thorough documentation of investigation activities.

  • Support product and process evaluation activities associated with product complaints.

  • Ensure that expectations in regard to investigations, corrections, NCR's, CAPA's, and all corresponding documentation are continually met.

  • Provide technical input and assisting in gathering appropriate operations and other functional inputs on issues.

  • Evaluate deliverables for compliance, completeness, and clarity, and provide feedback/disposition as appropriate.

  • Recommend, lead, and support projects for improvements to product quality.

  • Ensure implementation and optimization of metrics to drive improvement to products.

  • Analyze data from various sources to drive decision-making and effective corrective/preventive actions.

  • Communicate significant issues or developments identified during quality assurance activities and recommend improvements.

  • Compile and analyze data to determine trends and systemic issues.

  • Provide and present technical information to the team members and management.

Quality Investigator- Quality Engineer -Process Support Investigator II - (Healthcare / Manufacturing)

Qualifications

As a Process Support Investigator II, you must possess excellent communication skills, both oral and written, to interpret scientific and technical journals, financial reports and legal documents. Additionally, you must have the problem-solving and critical thinking skills to identify issues, draw valid conclusions and deal with several abstract or concrete variables.

Other requirements for the Quality Engineering role include:

  • Fifth year college or university program certificate with two to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • ASQ Certified Quality Engineer, Six Sigma Green Belt, preferred

  • A degree in life sciences, chemistry, or chemical engineering is preferred with 8 years experience in pharmaceutical or biotech industry performing similar duties.

  • Experience supporting biologics manufacturing desired.

  • Strong Quality Investigation background required with proven training.

  • Minimum 5 to 8 years in GMP environment.

  • Proficient use of Quality Management Systems such as Trackwise or Q-Pulse

  • Proficient use of Excel and statistical software (Minitab, Jump, etc).

  • Ability to differentiate between blood grouping antisera by color and read agglutination reactions.
