We are looking to hire an organized, detail-oriented Laboratory Assistant to join our Manufacturing (Operations) team. This position is responsible for performing a variety of manufacturing tasks associated with the production of Immucor reagents. Laboratory Assistant (Medical / Healthcare)

Responsibilities

As a Laboratory Assistant you will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks associated with the production of Immucor reagents.

Responsibilities of the Laboratory Assistant include:

  1. Performs routine up keep and maintenance of the lab including recording temperatures, cleaning, maintenance, and disposal of contaminated waste

  2. Accurately completes paperwork with minimal corrections

  3. Timely entry of Time and Materials into ERP.

  4. Following applicable laboratory SOPs, OSHA regulations and GMP regulations, applicable laboratory OSHA regulations with respect to chemical hazards, blood-borne pathogens, etc.

  5. Aids in preparation of items required for manufacturing of ELISA plates and Microsphere based products.

Additional Responsibilities include:

  1. Provide assistance with any other duties appropriate to increase the flow of work.

  2. Interacts cooperatively and positively with co-workers and receives direction well from superiors.

  3. Responsible to follow and promote the use of safety measures.

To be successful in this Laboratory Assistant role you must have exceptional organizational skills and a keen eye for detail. We are looking for someone who receives direction well and can work independently.
